Although change starts with “me”,
when I go from thinking “I” (isolation)
to thinking “We” (you and me),
illness can turn to wellness so easily!
Cuppa Coaching is a place where you can safely share your dreams, goals and set backs with no fear of shame or judgment. We will chat about what you want to chat about, and strategize solutions for the best possible outcome.
We often have the false belief that we should be able to "figure it out" on our own. We feel shame if we can't, so we isolate even more. It is amazing when we take the vulnerable step of sharing courageously our silent struggles, how we discover that we are, in fact, not alone with this struggle.
Can you guess what gets me up in the morning?! It may seem like a simple and insignificant motivation, but the joy of sitting in my front porch with my morning cup of coffee literally gets me out of bed in the morning.
My husband can attest to this!
My second most favourite thing to do is share a cup of coffee with a friend and enjoy a deep, inspiring conversation.
I believe that we can all learn something from each other, and we can all benefit from having a safe person to talk to without fear of judgment or rejection.
I find that since I turned fifty, I have a much greater appreciation for wise people in my life that took the time to ask me the hard questions and then pointed me in the direction of healthy solutions. I have always been a diligent lifetime learner in pursuit of personal growth and so I have purposefully sought these people out. They may not all have been professional Life Coaches or Counsellors but their impact on my life is immeasurable.
With thirty years of experience running our own businesses, being apart of leadership teams in our church and local charitable organizations, as well as coming to the other side of raising our boys and overcoming our own life-setbacks… this idea of becoming a Life Coach has been “brewing” for a few years!
CUPPA COACHING was birthed from the slow brew of combining my passion for people and coffee!
In England, “cuppa” means “a cup of tea”. People say "Would you like to come over for a cuppa?"
What a great way to start a coaching session - a warm drink and inspiring conversation!
Just as we all find pleasure in different kinds of brews, we also have unique personalities and goals.
Perhaps you’re unsure if any life coaching, or more specifically Cuppa Coaching is the right fit for you?
I totally understand. Your no-risk first CUPPA COACHING CALL is on me. At worst, we determine that we aren’t the best fit for each other; at best, we discover that our paths have crossed for this season of our journey!
"Debbie has walked alongside me in my life for the past 25 years, offering me tangible, practical advice and consistent love and support. Debbie is a comfortable person to be around; her soft demeanor and discerning spirit makes her easy to talk to and confide in. I never felt like I needed to filter myself or share "half truths" for fear of being judged or misunderstood.
Debbie has the unique ability to meet people exactly where they're at. Her compassion and empathy for others comes through in everything she does. She will make you feel safe, comfortable and heard.
I am proud to recommend Debbie Hawkins as a life coach. No matter where you're at in your life's journey, I can assure you she will be a tremendous help and will walk with you every step of the way!"

"Debbie helped me when I was at my lowest. I had lost my daughter because of my life style choices and felt that my future was hopeless with my PTSD diagnoses.
She was there for me in the good days and bad days and today, I have my daughter back and was able to get my dream job.
I have been able to make meaningful and lasting friendships. My life is full.
I could not have done it without her and the support of my church.
